KABUL -- The UK is likely to send more troops to Afghanistan soon, the Daily Mail reported May 27.
Likely plans include extending a training mission by at least one year and adding more than 100 soldiers to protect Kabul.
The training mission includes 450 troops. If London extends the mission, it will end in 2017 rather than in 2016.
British Prime Minister David Cameron is expected to announce those plans at a NATO summit in Warsaw in June.
