DUSHANBE -- Twenty-two customs and border officials from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan June 3 finished the Risk Analysis and Management in Border Security Course at the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Border Management Staff College in Dushanbe, the OSCE said in a statement that day.
The course ran from February 22 to June 3 and included "two face-to-face workshops and a post-module assignment", the OSCE said. Participants learned about strategic risk analysis, analytical techniques for protecting the border, and ways to identify the skills needed for a "border security and management analyst".
