Tajik officials learn to verify documents
DUSHANBE -- Twenty-four Tajik security personnel July 15 completed a week-long Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) workshop on verifying security documents, the OSCE said in a statement.
The Tajiks came from the Border Troops, the State Committee on National Security (GKNB) and the Interior Ministry. They learned "how documents are falsified, how passport booklets are constructed and produced, the processes behind producing paper for such documents, security features as well as the methods for verifying passports", the OSCE said.
Two Belarusian specialists conducted the workshop.
