Kazakh PM becomes chief of KNB

ASTANA -- Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev last week reshuffled the top members of his cabinet and security leadership, media reported.

Prime Minister Karim Massimov September 8 became chief of the National Security Committee (KNB). Baqytzhan Saghyntayev, a former economy minister, replaced Massimov as prime minister.
