ASHGABAT -- Turkmen specialists in the Defence Ministry's Chief Administration for Civil Defence and Life-Saving Work recently participated in Caspian-2016, an exercise for emergency personnel of all five Caspian Sea littoral states, a source at the Defence Ministry told Caravanserai.
The five countries' emergency personnel "worked out ways to ... co-operate during an emergency brought on by a terrorist act or by a natural or man-made disaster", the ministry source said.
The exercises took place on the Caspian September 20-22.
