Central Asians learn how to respond to bombs

ASTANA -- Forty civilian and military specialists November 16-18 in Astana attended a workshop on reducing and responding to explosive hazards, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) said in a statement.

The specialists, who exchanged experiences and best practices, came from various countries, including Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The event "allows for the networking of experts in explosive hazards risk reduction and response", the OSCE said.
