BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz Prime Minister Sooronbai Jeenbekov recently signed a government resolution lengthening the period that citizens of 92 countries may stay in Kyrgyzstan without registering with authorities, Fergana News reported Tuesday (December 20), quoting 24.kg.
The previous permissible periods were not reported, but citizens of Turkey now may stay 90 days without registering, while those from Japan, Canada, EU member states and other developed states have 60 to 90 days. The move is meant to encourage tourism.
