ASHGABAT -- Early voting in the Turkmen presidential election began Thursday (February 2) for Turkmen citizens living abroad, CA-News.org reported that day.
The early voting period continues through February 11 for the February 12 election.
Turkmen diplomatic missions will operate 39 voting stations that are open 8am to 6pm daily.
Nine candidates are running for president, including incumbent Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.
