DUSHANBE -- Tajik and international specialists in Dushanbe on Tuesday (February 21) discussed the fight against terrorism and extremism, Avesta.tj reported Wednesday (February 22), citing the Tajik Interior Ministry (MVD) website.
Participants included Tajik law enforcement and security officials and UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee representatives.
Topics included ways to strengthen the joint fight against terrorism, as well as co-operation with Interpol in the fight.
The Tajiks at the conference expressed their readiness to strengthen international co-operation in battling terrorism.
