QURGHONTEPPA, Tajikistan -- An explosion near a military court in Qurghonteppa, Khatlon Province, killed a man Sunday (March 12), Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported, quoting the Tajik Interior Ministry (MVD).
The explosion hit a school Sunday evening, according to the MVD, adding that the 67-year-old school guard was killed.
Police are investigating whether the guard blew himself up and are trying to determine the motive for the explosion.
