BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz anti-drug police Sunday (March 12) in Bishkek detained a suspected drug courier, the Interior Ministry (MVD) said in a Monday (March 13) statement.
Acting on a tip, anti-drug police halted a car near a Bishkek market. A search of the car turned up more than 8kg of heroin, said the MVD.
The suspect is a Tajik national, initials M. U., born in 1981.
