ASTANA -- Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev wished his countrymen a happy Nawruz, his press office said in a statement Tuesday (March 21).
The holiday "is a symbol of trust, friendship, brotherhood and the stability of our country", he said in a remarks at a celebratory concert in Astana.
Nazarbayev reviewed the country's achievements of 2016 and recounted recently approved changes to the constitution .
