Tashkent-Dushanbe nonstop flights resume after 25 years

DUSHANBE -- The first scheduled nonstop flight from Tashkent to Dushanbe in 25 years landed Tuesday (April 11), CA-News.org reported, quoting Tajik media.

Uzbekistan broke off the flights after the Tajik civil war broke out in 1992.

The Uzbekistan Airways plane on Tuesday had 29 passengers.

Negotiations on the relevant aviation agreement ended in Dushanbe April 6, according to the Tajik Transport Ministry.
