STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Within Sweden, 137 Uzbek nationals are in hiding in defiance of extradition orders, tweeted Carl Bildt, a former Swedish prime minister Wednesday (April 12).
The Swedish security situation became news after an Uzbek national, Rakhmat Akilov, allegedly drove a truck into pedestrians in Stockholm April 7, killing four people. Akilov is in custody and has confessed, say police.
