US 'super bomb' in Afghanistan killed 14 Tajik ISIL militants

NANGARHAR, Afghanistan -- The majority of militants killed in the April 13 bombing carried out by the US military against "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) positions in Nangarhar province in Afghanistan were foreign nationals, primarily Pakistani citizens, avesta.tj reported Wednesday (April 19).

In addition to the Pakistanis and Afghans, 14 Tajiks were killed, including field commander Siddiq Tajiki, as well as several Indian citizens.

The Afghan Defence Ministry reported that 96 ISIL militants were killed in the operation.

The US operation used the largest non-nuclear bomb ever deployed in battle.

Wherever the U.S. is present there is war, blood, ruin, and yet another weapons test; and how many civilians were killed, how many homes were destroyed - as always, they remain silent about that....
