DUSHANBE -- Tajik border forces have killed eight smugglers since the beginning of 2017, Avesta.tj reported Monday (May 29), quoting the border troops' press office.
The eight were killed in 11 shoot-outs between border troops and smugglers on the Tajik frontier. The troops detained five suspected traffickers and seized more than 340kg of drugs in the same period.
