BRUSSELS -- An Uzbekistani delegation led by Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov Tuesday (July 18) in Brussels conferred with European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, according to the Uzbekistani Foreign Ministry.
Kamilov invited Mogherini to attend a UN-sponsored international security conference scheduled for this autumn in Samarkand.
Topics of the Brussels talks included the next European Union-Central Asia Ministerial Meeting, which is scheduled for November in Samarkand, as well as various aspects of international and regional policy.
