TASHKENT -- A delegation from Uzbekistan's Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources is visiting the US Monday (October 23) and staying until November 1 to learn about advanced American technologies and discuss co-operation, 1news.uz reported Tuesday (October 24).
Leaders of several agricultural universities are part of the delegation, which will meet with US Department of Agriculture officials to talk about joint projects, including the export of Uzbekistani produce to the US and the deepening of Uzbekistani-US co-operation in agricultural science.
Planned destinations for the visitors include the University of Michigan and Ohio State University, both of which have large agricultural training programmes.
