Kazakhstan breaks up online narcotics sales

ASTANA -- Authorities from Kazakhstan's Cyber ​​Security Division and National Security Committee (KNB) have detained 12 members of a criminal group selling drugs on the internet, said the KNB Friday (November 3).

Authorities monitoring the "dark web" identified Astana- and Almaty-based online drug stores, according to the KNB.

The illicit website administrators, after receiving payment, sent buyers directions to drug stashes, added the KNB.
