Air Astana receives first upgraded Airbus passenger jet


ASTANA -- Air Astana, Kazakhstan's flagship airline, has received its first upgraded Airbus A321neo passenger jet, the company's press service told Kazinform Thursday (January 4).

The A321neo is the quietest aircraft in its class and consumes 15% less fuel than its predecessor.

Air Astana plans to take delivery of two more A321neo and an A320neo aircraft this year.
