BERLIN, Germany -- Maliksho Nematov, Tajikistan's ambassador to Germany, visited the Ethnological Museum of Berlin Monday (March 5) to discuss co-operation with the National Museum of Tajikistan (NMT), AsiaPlus.tj reported Wednesday (March 7).
Nematov met with Lars-Christian Koch, director of the Berlin museum's ethnomusicology department, who expressed readiness to exhibit the works of Tajik artists in his museum, according to the Tajik Foreign Ministry.
Nematov informed Koch that Tajikistan had declared 2018 the Year of Development of Tourism and Folk Crafts and donated a sample of chakan embroidery to the German museum.
