DUSHANBE -- The National Bank of Tajikistan has added more than 1,000 individuals to a blacklist of Tajik nationals linked to terrorist activity, AsiaPlus.tj reported Friday (March 16).
More than 200 names appeared on the list when the bank first released it in March 2017. That number has since grown to 1,372.
The list includes the names of those wanted for committing grave crimes and having links to terrorists.
The bank recommends freezing the assets and accounts of blacklisted individuals and urges Tajik citizens and companies to break off any financial ties with them.
