Some 420 teachers and 5th- to 9th-grade students at 61 pilot schools across Kyrgyzstan are taking part in the project, which will run from April 2-10.

The seminars are introducing a new education website and multimedia resources that were developed with technical assistance from the World Bank.

The multimedia resources, which are intended for primary and lower secondary schools, will be in Kyrgyz and Russian online and offline.

The schools taking part in the seminars will act as regional hubs for encouraging the use of multimedia resources.
