DUSHANBE -- More than 200 woman entrepreneurs from Central Asian states and Afghanistan gathered in Dushanbe Friday (April 6) to participate in a regional women's business forum, AsiaPlus.tj reported.
The two-day forum is aimed at demonstrating the potential of female entrepreneurs, most of whom are working in handicrafts and tourism.
The event includes master classes for businesswomen, NGO representatives and other interested parties.
The Tajik government and the National Association of Small and Medium Business of the Republic of Tajikistan organised the event.
They partnered with the US embassy in Dushanbe, the US Agency for International Development, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Asian Development Bank.
