BISHKEK -- Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have inaugurated nonstop airline service between Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Issyk-Kul Province, Kyrgyzstan, Kazinform reported Tuesday (July 3), citing the press office of Manas International Airport near Bishkek.
The first 51 tourists from Almaty arrived Monday (July 2) at Issyk-Kul International Airport in Tamchy village.
The Qazaq Air flight is scheduled twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Lake Issyk-Kul is Kyrgyzstan's most popular tourist attraction.
