The "Programme for Improving the System of Business Education for Women in Uzbekistan in 2018-2020" is aimed at improving women's business education and developing women's entrepreneurship across the country.

The two-year programme will be implemented in 180 districts and cities across the country in co-operation with relevant state agencies.

It will focus on four areas: "Business planning and financial literacy", "Efficient business management", "Competitiveness and product promotion on the market" and "Features of doing business in Uzbekistan: the woman, the family, business, traditions and modernity".

The programme is expected to train 78,000 women in business fundamentals and create more than 50,000 jobs, with a focus on rural women enduring difficult economic and psychological situations.
