DUSHANBE -- National carrier Tajik Air is set to begin nonstop flights from Dushanbe to Samarkand, Uzbekistan, Asia-Plus reported.
The first flight is scheduled for Saturday (July 28), according to the airline. The next flight is set for August 4.
In April, Uzbekistan Airways began regular flights between Tashkent and Dushanbe. Before the resumption of service, the two capitals had not had nonstop flights since 1992.
