ASTANA -- Top Kyrgyz and Kazakh officials are set to meet Thursday-Friday (August 16-17) in Astana to discuss co-operation, 24.kg reported Thursday.
The meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Kazakh Council will cover further co-operation between the neighbours and is expected to result in a number of agreements, according to the Kyrgyz government.
Kyrgyz Prime Minister Muhammedkaly Abylgaziyev is expected to meet his Kazakh counterpart, Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
