ISSYK-KUL, Kyrgyzstan -- Kyrgyzstan's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the government of Issyk-Kul Province Monday (August 20) opened an international exhibition in Karakol, AKIpress reported.
EXPO Issyk-Kul 2018 is aimed at attracting foreign investment in the province.
Companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belgium, Germany and other countries are showcasing their goods at the event.
The expo "will strengthen the trade and economic relations of Kyrgyzstan with other countries", said organisers.
"For the further successful development of this region, it is necessary to implement infrastructure projects, improve services, create joint ventures and develop tourism," they said.
