BISHKEK -- Kyrgyzstan's State Committee for National Security (GKNB) identified and stopped an international route used to traffic narcotics from Afghanistan, 24.kg reported Thursday (October 4).
Smugglers used the route to transport Afghan drugs via Kyrgyz territory to Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states, according to the GKNB.
GKNB personnel detained a foreign citizen accused of organising the route. He had more than 12.8kg of drugs that he was transporting, said the GKNB.
That's right, our national security personnel did a great job!
