BISHKEK -- Trade in commodities and goods between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan grew by 50% over the first 10 months of this year to $325 million, 24.kg reported Tuesday (December 4), citing the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy. The statistic excludes trade in services.
The report came as a delegation headed by Kyrgyz Minister of Economy Oleg Pankratov met with Uzbek officials in Tashkent.
The two sides discussed the level of trade and the expansion of economic relations as well as the expansion of exports to each other of mutually desired goods.
