BISHKEK -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) next year in Kyrgyzstan plans to launch new projects aimed at boosting irrigation and providing clean drinking water, 24.kg reported.
EBRD Director for Central Asia Neil McKain announced the projects during a meeting with President Sooronbay Jeenbekov Tuesday (December 11) in Bishkek.
The EBRD will allocate more than $129 million (9 billion KGS) for the projects, said McKain.
