Kyrgyz authorities detain 2 suspected terrorists
BISHKEK -- Kyrgyzstan's State Committee for National Security (GKNB) arrested two men suspected of being members of an international terrorist organisation, 24.kg reported Tuesday (February 5), quoting the GKNB press office.
One suspect is a Kyrgyz citizen who allegedly distributed extremist materials on social networks and made phony Kyrgyz passports for foreigners.
The other detainee is a citizen of an unspecified Central Asian state and was hiding in Kyrgyzstan with forged documents. He was wanted for terrorist crimes, according to the GKNB.
