BISHKEK -- Trade between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in 2018 increased 8.6%, 24.kg reported Wednesday (February 13), citing the Kyrgyz government.
From January-December 2018, trade between the two countries amounted to $336.5 million, according to Bishkek.
Exports to Uzbekistan grew by 8.3%, reaching $158.5 million, while imports increased by 8.8% up to $178 million, it said.
The Uzbek government's figures for the countries' trade differ because it uses another statistical method.
