BISHKEK -- At least 245 individuals convicted of terrorism and extremism in Kyrgyzstan are serving time in prison, 24.kg reported Thursday (February 21), citing the country's penal service.
Another 215 convicts who committed the same offences are in lower security facilities, it added.
The number of convicted terrorists and extremists is growing every year, according to the penal service.
