NANGARHAR, Afghanistan -- At least 13 terrorists, including a key militant commander, were killed recently in Nangarhar and Ghazni provinces, media reported.
Security forces recently killed at least six members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL), including a commander, in Kot District, Nangarhar Province, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said, according to a June 8 Khaama Press report.
An air strike recently killed seven more militants in Geru District, Ghazni Province, the MoD said June 8, according to Khaama Press.
Meanwhile, the Afghan National Army (ANA) recently detained five suspected terrorists in Moqor District, Ghazni Province, according to the MoD.
