KARACHI -- Police June 10 in Karachi detained two suspected al-Qaeda terrorists, while a man in Lahore is accused of committing three "honour killings" in his own family, media reported.
The al-Qaeda suspects had an anti-aircraft gun and other terrorist supplies, police said, accusing to Geo News. The suspects were "highly educated", according to police.
A Lahore man fatally shot his daughter, son-in-law and another man, Dunya TV reported June 10. The date of the slayings was not reported.
The daughter married a man without her parents' consent, police said, adding that they arrested the suspect.
