BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz border guards June 7 detained a Kyrgyz citizen who was trying to smuggling munitions from Kyrgyzstan into Kazakhstan, the State Border Service (GPS) said in a statement June 8.
Border guards detained the accused smuggler at the Chaldybar highway border crossing. When they searched his vehicle, they found 10 9mm rounds of ammunition for a non-lethal firearm, the GPS said.
