DUSHANBE -- A Tajik singer recently agreed to play the role of father to comfort a four-year-old Tajik girl whose actual father joined the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) in Syria, Nastoyashchee Vremya reported in a video aired June 23.
The girl, Sumaya, saw singer Shakhriyor Davlatov on TV and thought he was her long-missing father, Parviz, whom he resembles. Davlatov, when informed of the situation, visited her apartment and played with her, as shown on TV.
