Central Asian border guards learn about document security

ALMATY -- A train-the-trainer course on document security for 20 Central Asian border guards began in Almaty June 22, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) said in a statement. The workshop ends June 24.

The OSCE and the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA) organised the workshop, which border guards from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are attending.

Trainers from Latvia and Slovakia are teaching the border guards "best practises in international document security".
