Balochistan blasts kill 4; Karachi police kill 3 terrorists

ISLAMABAD -- Two explosions in Balochistan Province killed at least four Pakistanis, including a police officer, while police in Karachi killed three terrorists, media reported.

A bicycle-mounted bomb June 24 in Quetta killed at least three Pakistanis, Dunya TV reported.

The recent accidental explosion of confiscated explosives in a Naseerabad District police station killed a police sub-inspector, Dawn reported June 23.

Police had seized the explosives from criminals.

Police June 23 in Karachi killed three terrorists in a shoot-out, Geo News reported.

The dead terrorists committed various crimes in Karachi, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar said, adding police recovered a weapon and ammunition cache after the gun battle.

The para-military Rangers June 23 in Karachi arrested five suspected target killers and eight suspected extortionists linked to banned outfits, the Sindh Rangers said, according to APP.
