KABUL -- Dozens of militants were killed or wounded during recent nationwide counter-terrorism operations in Afghanistan.
Troops inflicted heavy losses on militants in a 24-hour span, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said June 23.
Eight Afghan National Army (ANA) troops were killed, MoD spokesman Maj. Gen. Dawlat Waziri said, according to Pajhwok Afghan News.
