Ukraine arrests 2 suspected Tajik militants

KHARKIV, Ukraine -- Ukrainian border guards at Kharkiv International Airport recently arrested two Tajiks accused of belonging to the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL), Kharkiv News Agency reported June 25, quoting the Ukrainian border service.

The Tajiks were trying to fly to Tajikistan, where they intended to foment a revolution, the border service said.

Authorities stopped the two from boarding a flight to Istanbul when they recognised them from an Interpol wanted list.
