BISHKEK -- Kyrgyz authorities July 26 in Sokuluk District, Chui Province, arrested the suspected leader of an organised crime ring, the Interior Ministry (MVD) said in a July 27 statement.
The suspect, 48, identified only as K. G., had more than 2.8kg of heroin in his residence, the MVD said.
K.G. led a crime ring with a long history of sending heroin and hashish to CIS countries, the MVD said.
