Tajik border troops finish OSCE course

DUSHANBE -- Twenty Tajik Border Troops officers August 5 finished a four-week-long course in Dushanbe, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) said in a statement.

The course on patrolling and leadership was meant to boost the officers' skill in conducting "observation missions using topographical maps, satellite imagery and other tools". Other skills taught included reporting, analysis and communications.
