KYIV -- Ukrainian border guards August 11 at Kyiv International Airport detained a Tajik passenger who was on Interpol's wanted list, the Ukrainian State Border Service said in an August 12 statement.
The Tajik, 24, flew into Kyiv from Turkey. Border guards checking the Tajik's documents found his name on the Interpol wanted list. He is a suspected member of a terrorist group.
Authorities are expected to send him to Tajikistan after concluding formalities in Ukraine.
