DUSHANBE -- Tajik officials August 30 opened a modern border guard outpost along the country's frontier with Uzbekistan, AsiaPlus.tj reported August 31, quoting the Tajik Border Troops' press office.
The border outpost, near the Tajik city of Tursunzoda, includes barracks, classrooms, library, athletic field and other amenities, the Border Troops said.
Dignitaries at the opening included the secretary of the Tajik Security Council, commander of the Border Troops and mayor of Tursunzoda.
