Kazakh border guards learn about risk profiling

ASTANA -- Twenty Kazakhstani border guards October 10 in Astana began a five-day-long training seminar on risk profiling, the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) said in a statement.

The OSCE event is meant "to equip participants with psychological techniques to help identify potential criminals at border checkpoints", the OSCE said. Topics include psychological profiling and "ways to use different risk indicators".
