OSCE completes 16th Staff Course at border security college in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE -- Participants October 28 completed the month-long 16th Border Management Staff Course at the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Border Management Staff College, the OSCE said in a statement.

The trainees came from the border guards and management professionals of 15 countries including Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. So far, 394 commanders and managers from various countries' border guards and management cadres have completed the training.

Participants "developed their research papers focusing on science, technology and border security; global human trafficking trends and issues; transnational threats; and countering terrorism financing", the OSCE said.
