Kazakhs arrest alleged extremists in Aktobe over oil sales

AKTOBE, Kazakhstan -- Kazakhstani authorities on Wednesday (December 7) in Aktobe arrested several individuals suspected of illegal oil sales, including some suspected extremists, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reported that day, quoting the National Security Committee (KNB).

Authorities impounded several containers of crude oil and petroleum products, the KNB said, adding that some detainees belonged to a banned movement.
